Santiago de Querétaro

Santiago de Querétaro is the capital city of Querétaro, founded in 1531. It is a popular tourist place, its historic center is full of buildings, constructions and landmarks, that shows the cultural and historical heritage of the city. The most popular of its main sights is the city Aqueduct, built between 1726 and 1738, funded and constructed by Juan Antonio de Urrutia y Arana. The Aqueduct features 74 arches and goes for 1.280 meters with a maximum height of 23 meters, and its pourpose was to take water to the Convent of the Holy Cross from some springs east of the city.

Tepito

Tepito is a neighbourhood in Mexico DF, famous for its flea market, and many boxers and wrestlers were born here. Eventhough the flea market is famous for its low prices, most of the merchandise sold there is illegal, either stolen or piracy products, like DVD movies sold weeks and even months before the official release, video games and consoles, particularly the Sony PlayStation, CDs, computer software and computers, brand name clothing and accesories, and so on. But besides all that, it is a very picturesque place to visit!

Xochimilco

Xochimilco is situated south from Mexico DF, and it is known for its extended series of canals, resembling the ones in Venice, and this canals, are the remains of the ancient Lake Xochimilco. This area has managed to maintain its ancient traditions, even though it is so close to Mexico DF. It has a very romantic reputation, due to its citizens, that travel in the picturesque boats, covered with flowers.
