Chankanaab Reef

Queenfish Due to the damage caused by Hurricane Wilma, the following description may no longer be accurate. I have to ask you to take this under consideration when you make your travel plans. Situated just south of Parque Chankanaab , this reef is ideal for snorkeling since it is only 350 yards offshore. It's rather shallow, never going deeper than 70-feet, so many dive operators also use it as a training ground for beginner scuba divers. It is one of the more accessible reefs with an incredible array of marine life.
