Museo de Historia Mexicana
History does not have to be boring and tedious, as this museum for Mexican history will show you. Four amazing exhibit halls illustrate in a unique manner the political, economic, cultural and social development of the nation, from ancient times to the Colony and its Independence up until current times. This is what they call the group of old houses located along several blocks behind the Metropolitan Cathedral, which have successfully survived the battle of time. They are protected by a decree issued in 1998, and have undergone much refurbishment. The old ones date back to the 17th century and belonged to the families that established themselves in this city. Others date back to the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. It is a real experience to walk along these stone-paved streets,
